Polyamide 6,6 Air-covered or interlaced yarns (AIR-JET)
THIS RANGE OF YARNS IS SUITABLE TO OBTAIN SOFT AND WARM HAND WOVEN FABRICS WITH EXTREME ELASTICITY.
The AIR JET yarns are a range of yarns combined through an air system with the LYCRA fibers; these yarns are suitable for obtaining fabrics with a soft and warm hand and characterized by an excellent elasticity.
HOW IS IT MADE?
The AIR JET process consists in joining the LYCRA® Fibre with a textured polyamide thread by an air jet, called interlacing process. In this way the wire produced will have characteristics of both the textured wire, voluminous and high covering power, both those of elastomer wire, high elongation and high elastic recovery power.
