What is Q-SKIN®?
Q-SKIN® is a Nylon 6.6 fiber that incorporates a bacteriostatic agent that helps reduce the formation of odor-causing bacteria.

What is Q-SKIN® made of?
Q-SKIN® is made of Nylon 6.6 enhanced with special additives based on silver ions.

How does Q-SKIN® work?
Bacteria have a negative charge (-) while silver ions are positive (+). This mechanism allows the silver ions to reduce excess bacterial flora. The bacteriostatic activity of Q-SKIN® by Fulgar is concentrated on the surface of the fabric.

Does Q-SKIN® have a sustainable process?
Yes, the Q-SKIN® fiber is made in Italy, at the Fulgar Spa plants based in Castel Goffredo, respecting the strictest sustainability standards.

Is Q-SKIN® certified?
Yes, Q-SKIN® fiber is certified according to DIN ISO 20743: 10-2007 and JIS L 1902/02 standards. Q-SKIN® by Fulgar also meets OEKO TEX STD CLASS I appendix 6 standards.

Does Q-SKIN® use nanoparticles?
No, the Q-SKIN® fiber does not contain nanoparticles in fact their size is greater than 0.1 micrometres.

How is it indicated on the pack label or press releases?
Q-SKIN® falls under the Polyamide (PA) product class. On the packaging or on any informative material, if you wish, you can mention the bacteriostatic characteristic of Q-SKIN® and/or the performances. It is necessary to indicate the % and the commercial name of the product. eg. This garment contains Q-SKIN® fiber - The fabric contains Fulgar's Q-SKIN® fiber
